To celebrate out first week together I would like to introduce you to Klaus. So, this is Klaus.

One of Klaus' favorite things to do is lie on my keyboard. I
assume this is because the keyboard is warm. Needless to say it
makes typing quite difficult.
Klaus is adjusting just fine to her new environment and is now coming
down the stairs to greet me when I come home. Granted I have
never been a cat person, owning dogs all of my life, the transistion
wasn't too difficult, although Im still discipling her as if she were a
dog.

Klaus is three months old and still very
much a kitten. While her kitten phase is often charming, it more
or less becomes quite irritating, but she's still a kitty so it's
"charmingly irritating." When she's not being mellow, she darts
everywhere, bites everything and jumps at lengths that are as tall as
me. When Klaus does get my nerves on end she gets a big wet spray
of water in her face. She doesn't like it much but it's funny
nonetheless. Furthermore, just to smite me, she'll smother me by
sleeping on my neck when I'm sleeping, bit my ears to wake me in the
most wretched early morning hours and call for my attention when I need
to actually work.

Funny observations: After a
whole summer of being bored off your ass waiting for school to start,
something interesting happens: Fall finally comes and school
finally starts (soon anyways, it still hasn't for me). Every year
it takes a whole summer to finally accustom myself to the freedoms of
summer and I finally become accustomed just a few days before school
starts. Then you don't want school to start. Then you don't
want to see everyone again after a whole solitary summer. For the
first time ever, I don't feel like I have prepared myself for the first
day of classes at all. Wah.
